The Förderverein Bürgerspital Wertheim receives a total of 150,000 euros in donations from PINK.

The board of the Förderverein Bürgerspital Wertheim e.V., represented by Klaus Thoma (Chairman) and Axel Wältz (Treasurer), thanked Andrea Pink (Managing Director of PINK GmbH Thermosysteme) on Thursday, April 9 in Bestenheid for a generous donation totaling 150,000 euros. The donation will be divided into three donations of 50,000 euros each from the two companies PINK GmbH Thermosysteme (Bestenheid) and PINK GmbH Vakuumtechnik (Reinhardshof) as well as from Friedrich and Elfriede Pink.

In his words of thanks, the chairman of the association, Klaus Thoma, was delighted that the family-run company PINK was making a strong commitment to Wertheim as a home base with its donation. He went on to say how important it is for Wertheim’s companies and the citizens of the region to support the Bürgerspital, as the town of Wertheim will never be able to cover the necessary expenses on its own. “The more donations we receive, the greater the chance that we will be able to realize additional medical technology purchases and innovative projects for patients and staff in addition to the purely financial security of emergency care,” said Klaus Thoma.

Andrea Pink then explained her motivation and her parents’ motives for supporting the Bürgerspital: “It is particularly important for our companies to have a functioning healthcare system on site, as this is a basic prerequisite for attracting qualified staff to Wertheim and keeping them here. In addition, anyone who has ever been in a health emergency knows how vital good emergency medical care with short distances is for successful life-sustaining measures.”
