June 26th 2015
Having submitted its application on 15 January 2015, PINK Japan K.K. was registered on 16 January. Since then, PINK Japan K.K., located in Tokyo, Japan, has been a wholly owned subsidiary of PINK GmbH Thermosysteme. For PINK, Japan is the second most important market in the world for power electronics and hence for the product sector of innovative vacuum soldering systems. The establishment of a subsidiary in Japan was a necessary and logical step in order to offer customers in Japan the same high quality of direct service by PINK's own staff as in Germany and to simplify communication. It also serves to strengthen and extend business relationships and sales.
The opening ceremony took place in Tokyo on 26 June 2015. In her speech, Andrea Althaus, Managing Director of PINK GmbH Thermosysteme and Chairwoman of the Board of PINK Japan K.K., welcomed her guests and introduced the new 4-strong PINK Japan team. During the ceremony according to Japanese tradition, the lid of a wooden barrel of sake was then broken open.
